CompVault is built and operated by 8888 Media LLC ("we," "us"). We built CompVault to be private by design. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
1The short version
- CompVault does not require an account, and never asks for your casino players-club login.
- CompVault does not read your email or inbox.
- Your offers are stored on your device and synced privately across your own Apple devices through iCloud/CloudKit — we cannot read them.
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
2Information you provide
CompVault stores the offer information you add — by scanning a mailer or entering it manually — such as casino name, offer type, dates, dollar values, and your own notes. This data lives in your private iCloud account and on your devices.
3Scanning a mailer
When you scan or upload a photo to extract offers, that image is sent to our processing service solely to read the offer details from it, and is not retained after processing. The extracted text is returned to your device. We do not use your images to train models.
4Payments
CompVault Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment-card details.
5Diagnostics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated crash and performance diagnostics to keep the app stable. These do not identify you and do not include your offer data.
6Your control
You can delete any offer at any time inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from your device; iCloud data can be managed from your device's iCloud settings.
